![]() So honestly choices feel frustrating and meaningless when they are offered, not that they are offered that often. At other times you are given only one choice that leads to things going wrong and the narrator saying no that is not the way it went, and offers you the choice again, but this time with an option that was not there the first time. Some times there is only one choice, so why it even makes you click it is beyond me. Hmmm finally a bit about choices, there are very few offered, and they become increasingly further apart as you go. At time its hard to tell if your in the present, reliving the past, and even who is experiencing what is going on that your reading about. I was just put off enough already with the story line up to that point that I had no interest in persuing something that was all about a character I had already grown to dislike.Īs one of the other reviewers pointed out, the time line gets all jumbled up as you read. Then it takes you completely out of the story to play some kind of involved mini game to progress the story. Without spoilering anything actually in the story, you end up getting stuck having to help some one who manipulates and talks down to the MC all the time. The main protagonist has a personality and talks like a cross between Gomer Pile and that old deputy from Gun Smoke. I found pretty much every character in the game to be very unlikable, and the further i read the more unlikable they become. It reads more like a very creative psychology dissertation than any kind of enjoyable story. ![]() So I got it anyway as I had money to burn and nothing else on Steam to spend it on.Īnd well its just not great. Was not sure on this one from the store page, as it was really hard to get any idea of what this game was offering / actually about.
